Welcome to Nevada eGrants

This e-grants system allows you to search for traffic safety grant opportunities in OTS, submit and track your application, and manage your grant electronically. Applicable grant projects will seek to improve traffic safety in your community.

These grant funds are dedicated to non-infrastructure safety-related improvement projects (e.g. education, enforcement, equipment, etc.).

FY24 grant opportunities are available beginning January 16, 2023, and are due by 5:00 p.m. on 03/17/2023.

The Office of Traffic Safety announces the opening of its traffic safety project proposal period for the 2024 grant year. Requests for funding to address traffic safety issues identified in the Nevada Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP) will be considered for award. Program areas include:
  • Child Passenger Safety
  • Distracted Drivers

The OTS has a two-step process for grant application submission:
  1. A Letter of Interest (LOI) that includes a summary proposal.
  2. If the LOI is approved, applicants will be invited to submit an application, which will be due no later than 5:00 p.m. on 3/17/2023. The application will go through a full review and scoring process.
The Letter of Interest can be submitted by logging in, and clicking 'view opportunities'.
